Just watched NBC nightly news. They stand by their story on the nukes, saying that they have three sources who were in the meeting. They meet Mattis’s objection saying that Trump never “called for” a large increase in US nuclear arms by pointing out that they never said he “called for” this, but that he discussed it.

Heh. I commented earlier there was wiggle room in Mattis’ statement. That is the Trump WH way. If they have any creativity, it is in dancing around things by very creative wording that is really just a lie.
