So, my take on the newfound enthusiasm of the Republicans is that Republicans always vote, whether they’re enthusiastic or not. Turnout of Republicans in 2012 was not depressed, despite Right wing legend. No ‘missing white men’.

Democrats, OTOH, really need enthusiasm to turn out. And boy, do we have it!
