But the teachers paycheck comes every week, every week, every week, come hell or high water. I have everything on the line; house, and retirement …. and I work past midnight too. I spend so many nights a year away from my family in shitty motels downloading and reducing data, getting ready for the next field day.

What’s your field, level of education, and why do you think what you do is so much more difficult compared to the responsibility you entrust the people tasked with educating your children and providing them a safe environment for them to be educated in?

You’re coming off like a self aggrandizing spoiled brat. No matter how hard we have to scramble sometimes to get work done I look around and don’t see anybody placing their children’s lives and minds in our care. Have a little humility and empathy for people who do what you either can’t or won’t for a living.
