re: #320 JordanRules

I want someone with governing experience for POTUS. I’d like Oprah to be a huge resource in various ways for that person and for the process more generally, from the outside. Kamala and Kristen are at the top of my list right now, but so much can change.
But I also think she is more than qualified to enter the primary if she wants. Carly and Meg and tons of other horrible candidates did.

I’m seeing a lot of downplaying her resume and legacy. She is far, far more than an entertainer and is not comparable to 45 or even The Rock (who appears functional).
I think many folks are just uneducated about a lot of what she’s done so they should stay open to learning more. Then of course there are those being shamefully resistant to seeing her whole legacy regardless of how much they learn. That’s to be expected from some.

I’ve had my issues with her and some of her associates over the years too.
When I was on the radio in the early 2000s I often criticized her for that The Secret/respectability bullshit. And no, the woo Dr’s are not worse than Nazis, sorry. I’ve had issues with Obama, Hillary etc for wack associates and positions too.

She is a self-made billionaire with successful publishing and broadcasting properties among other business ventures. She’s been a tireless education activist - built schools, scholarship funds etc. And there is so much more.

Just don’t erase her and her legacy as this debate continues.

Not a prob. Let her run for a Sen/House position first. POTUS isn’t a OJT position as we are seeing now. It takes experience to sit in that chair. Experience she doesn’t have.
