We’ve been worried about government data collection as long as they have kept records.

Computers in the 60s really helped expand the capabilities.

Now just about everyone has a computer link one way or another…as simple as a name and a phone number.

Then comes Facebook and put a nice face on the book and people just give it up.

And Facebook learns and learns and finds better ways to use and get more and more.

This is only going to get more intrusive, how could it not?

I agree with all that.
I disagree that people getting their news from these new tools is the problem. They got the same bullshit they were predisposed to believe from websites, talk radio, blogs etc before social media. Charles saw all of it up close before Twitter and FB existed.

The new tools should be regulated for sure!
