Really? How did they come up with the ‘millions’ figure?….

The more I think about it, the more I see cap and trade as not just a handy way of taxing the shit out of all things fossil-fuel, but as a big thumb trying to gouge out the eyes of red states like Alaska, Texas or Wyoming and shifting whatever jobs that would be created to blue states like California or New York.

It’s makes ‘em feel good though doesn’t it? California and New York are 2 of the highest polluting states in the country. They should start their cap and tax program in those two states and see how it works out for them.
