i do hear denver is a beutiful city>>>>>>walter?

It’s a unique city. Has architecture that mimics everything from an east coast city to a northwestern city… with everything in between. That’s why in the 90’s we were a major run-a-way production city for the movie industry… you could use Denver for multiple locations, and never leave the area.

A lot of culture here. More live theatre groups per capita than Chicago. Surprisingly you won’t find much experimental theatre. World class drama, musicals and comedy, and your audience tested standards, but not a lot of avant garde stuff.

Of course, head west 40 minutes and you are in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, getting close to 100 feet high (my house is at 8200 feet), 40 more minutes and you are at 14 thousand feet peaks.

Summer playground, winter wonderland, over 300 sunny days a year. Not a good job market right now, but that’s not rare anyplace in the country.

If you are looking for upscale urban stuff, we have it, but it’s cookie cutter stuff like you can find in any city with the shallow folks.. the in crowd, the scene.

All in all, if you come to Denver, look for the history, the mining history, the western history, the railroad history, the geology, the way the mountain towns built up due to gold, that kind of stuff. Look for the what you can’t find in other places… there’s a fair share of “new” here.
