I never could seem to find the patience to make an insanity run through before. Certainly not on ME1, even before I downloaded the DLCs and learned new levels of pain.

I never did it with ME1. I didn’t even import my character for some reason. In ME2 insanity was the hardest for me with a vanguard, but still doable with good strategy.
