Kind of sad to see all the talk this morning is about the Jerusalem language. Particularly when it is entirely lip service. Every President has in the past called for Jerusalem as the capital and said they would move their embassy. Not one, not one Republican or Democrat has done a damn thing to do so. It is pure lip service without any meaning whatsoever. Obama has supported Israel completely but at the same time he has toned down the incendiary rhetoric to appear as a more honest broker in the Middle East. In the end, most Israel supporters role their eyes, they know this issue is a red herring. They see the facts, that there is literally no substantive change in the Israel / US relationship under Obama (other than the fact that he doesnt like Bibi - which in my opinion shows his good judgement). I do think however that this was really poorly handled to have this play out on the convention floor.
