I’m about halfway through the podcast of Maddow’s Friday show, but she’s doing some brief thumbnails of all the current GOP candidates. She covered both Jeb! and Walker.

1) She ran a piece of Jeb! stumping for Bush Sr. in 1980 in Puerto Rico, and apparently the video literally shows his knees shaking.

Now, that’s understandable for a 27 year old whose never campaigned before. But it doesn’t appear that in 35 years since, he’s gotten any better. The fact that he keeps almost willingly walking into the Iraq War buzzsaw proves that.

It doesn’t shout “Fast-on-his-feet leader with nerves of steel”.

2) Walker, not a governor but WI assemblyman or something similar, kept sending WI prisoners to a TX jail after evidence came to light that the jail was abusing them.

Coupled with his 12 for 13 record in winning elections, and his willingness to fuck over working people? He’s a Republican’s wet dream. He’s the walking definition of “We weren’t conservative enough in the last election.”

With the Kochs in his corner and their ability to astroturf like nobody’s business, I think he’ll be the guy once Trump gets bored/angry.

What i’ve been thinking is Walker’s going to sell himself big time as a guy who has won in a state/region that is favorable ot the Dems. But you’re right. The guy loves fucking over working people while pretending he’s on their side. I am just not impressed with Jeb as a candidate. I know alot of people think his nomination is inevitable but Walker’s my pick.
