Well, there is an alternative: If there are any half-way respectable Republicans left, they will bail from the GOP over this to another party, perhaps the Libertarians, and the GOP collapses.

Party collapses have happened before in our country. That would not be new.

Not gonna happen. They cleaned up this election. Golden showers are not going to stop them dismantling everything since and including the New Deal.
