We did have that conversation. She did not want to uproot the kids. But that was in the spring. She changed her mind several times about coming back north.

Sounds like it could be one of those rare times when “It’s not you, it’s me” could be true, you know? That’s a lot of shit to deal with. Not sure I’d want to handle being in a relationship at the same time as all that, if I were her.
