Yeah, Dubya had his share of problems but he was personable and charismatic. Mitt, on the other hand, was widely derided for being stiff as a board and acting every bit the blue blood he thought himself.

Mitt and Trump are similar in that they both so desperately wanted to be part of the blue blood elite, but had various disqualifying characteristics. For Mitt it was that he was from Michigan and went to the wrong church. For Trump it was that he was from Queens, and… well, basically everything he did after 1980 (acting too much like “new money”).
