I’d add a caveat where you say not nearly as mean-spirited as Coulter.

All of these types make their hay by being mean-spirited to a point. Olberman, O’Reilly, Hannitty, Maddow. Same thing different viewpoint. There’s a reason no one cared for Alan Colmes and he didn’t rate well, he was more respectful than any of the others so he looked like milquetoast.

I have never heard Maddow be anything but polite to those who are willing to come on her show. It is not her fault that she is smarter them most of them and can make a conservative look like a fool just by doing her job.
