Given the typical RWNJ’s ignorance of constitutional process, a green light from the president himself could easily lead to the American equivalent of Kristallnacht. I am not exaggerating or engaging in Godwinesque hyperbole. For one thing, such an officially sanctioned uprising would almost certainly result in more murders than occurred in the Kristallnacht riots (96 confirmed, possibly several hundred).

When they transition from feeling good about killing the doctors to feeling OK about killing the pregnant women, this could happen.
