I think the Prez is basically an “academic” at heart. He likes to discuss things. But at some point he has to “own it” because if he doesn’t, it will be his undoing. Someone should play Bill Clinton or James Carville saying “it’s the economy, stupid.”

I get really frustrated sometimes because I know he’s quite capable of throwing down when he wants to.
