Just a thought - how many more votes will seating another SC justice net Trump? I’m thinking not many - the hard core is already voting for him.

But looking at ActBlue’s fundraising numbers since the news about Justice Ginsburg broke, it sure look like a lot of people on our side have kicked it up a couple of notches.

As with all of Trump’s ‘wins’, this may not be as big a win as it first appears.

I mean….it’s not even the election that I’m despondent about. I honestly think the electoral effect will probably push things even more in favor of the Dems.

My problem is that this basically will solidify Republican ownership of the entire judiciary for the next generation and a half, combined with MItch’s single-minded task of filling every single vacancy so there’s virtually no hope of Dems undoing that damage within even two back to back Dem presidencies.
