Well, as always, it’s your choice my friend. I talk about my cancer because the first time I mentioned it out here, in July of ‘05, I felt that I was in a community of friends - some more friendly than others! - and I was still in shock. But comments and a blizzard of e-mails let me know that other folks suffering from terminal illnesses, were glad I spoke out and said it gave them the courage to write to me and to talk with family members and friends about their own conditions.
I couldn’t very well stop discussing it thereafter, could I?
