You know, I’m not too fond of the CoC types but to their credit, they see the fallacy of right wing populism and right wing reactionary attitudes about minority groups. A lot of it self-serving but better than the know nothings. I said it the other day but the paleocons always pissed me off more than the neocons.

What I’m hoping for is a determination by the CoC types that the Republican party base is now bad for business. Even if they do start to come around on this point, it will take them many years to recover from their habit of stoking resentments for easy votes.
