My point is this whole “we can do nothing to lower the price of oil” is just nonsense. They said it would be 10 years before the price of petrol would come down, even a little, even with a massive increase in drilling, yet, we all witnessed the price of Crude Oil make a historic drop, that with absolutely no new supply. Now image if we made a massive effort to develop our domestic supply, along with coal, nuclear, Nat. Gas? The Saudis would still sell their Oil, but at very low prices.
