Ohio Police Officer Accused Of Shooting News Photographer

A police officer in New Carlisle, Ohio, shot a photojournalist on Monday night after his camera and tripod were “apparently [mistaken] for a weapon,” the New Carlisle News reports.

New Carlisle News photographer Andy Grimm was rushed to a local hospital after he was shot in his side, according to the publication, which also reports that Grimm underwent surgery and is “expected to recover.”
