When I was growing up, the fire and brimstone part of religion just really turned me off. Why do you expect me to love God if you’re making me afraid that if I wack off or something like that, I’ll go to hell. I like to think that if there’s a God, he’s a forgiving one. I’ve always appreciated the agnostic position on religion. I just don’t know. What I do know is I want to live the best life I can. And if there’s an afterlife with that where I get to be reunited with friends and family who have left before, awesome, but if not, at least I lived my life the way I wanted to.
