I hope the sarc tags indicate you are not trying to hang that bell around my neck. Because the premise is utterly nonsensical. The premise that gun control and a better job of handling the mentally ill short of forced incarcerating the innocent are somehow mutually exclusive. If we can’t do both it’s a legislative fail as much as anywhere.

Surely one of the most mistaken ideas in the whole issue.
