We should go along with the Orwellian project of reducing to nothing the history of people who were first destroyed, and now will be erased? So as to help feed the illimitable and unfounded self esteem of those who seek to destroy us too?

And why do they seek our destruction? One of the reasons may well be a matter of cognitive dissonance. Their book and their teachers tell them that they are the best of people. But while other people who achieve more live, their [our, that is] very existence is a living reproach and a cause for unease.
