Gah… we really shouldn’t be letting police keep the materials that they seize/the money gained from auctioning them off, that creates far too obvious a chance for corruption.

If the objects/money was given to the government in general and the government financed our police forces better, we’d have at least a slightly more sane legal process in America if you ask me…
