It’s not a matter of keeping your mouth shut. It’s a matter of realizing that this is why the GOP is in the shitty state it’s in. People keep voting for the batshit candidates. People keep watching Fox News and listening to the howler monkeys on talk radio and giving them legitimacy.

If people want the GOP to change and to actually become sane, then stop voting for these people. Just stop. Stop voting for them. Stop listening to them on the radio. Stop buying their books or watching them on Fox. It’s not enough to just call them out then vote for them anyway.

How? So they can have candidates like Romney and possibly Giulianni only to have the left still ridiculing them? I’ve been around this biz since 1976 and I know damn well that the left hates the Republican party regardless of whether they’re far right or moderate Republicans. I had people call McCain a Nazi and heard many a moonbat call Bush a Nazi to no end from 2000 to 2008. And they’re relative moderates. Stop voting for whom? Stop voting for Bush or McCain? Then what? Have a one-party state run by Democrats and only Democrats? No thanks. And I voted straight Democrats in the last election. Still, this is going to far.
