My family plan costs over $250/mo. Because I’m self-employed I have to keep my own workers comp coverage (even though I have health insurance) and that cost me $1800/yr. When you toss in my general liability and vehicle insurance I’m paying over $10,000/yr on insurance.

My family plan here at work costs me $457 every 2 weeks for my part of the premium. $11,882 just for the premium, and an initial $5000.00 out of pocket (doesn’t include co-pay into bringing that out of pocket down). There has to be a better way.
