Sam tended the bar at the Long Branch for Miss Kitty fer decades.

An’ Miss Kitty would put some out of town ne’r do well up for the night… and he’d get suckered back into his life of robbin’ and stealin’…. and they’d rob the Long Branch…. and Sam would get clunked over the head with a Colt.

He shoulda asked for hazard pay!
