Am I the only one who, when I watch video of hurricanes and floods and wildfires, wonders how the people on Walking Dead would fare?

That DC subway they’ve been crawling through for two episodes now, why isn’t it completely submerged, since the pumps would have been rendered inoperative when the power plants went off-line a dozen years ago?
