I think we are having a problem with terminology. And it’s not good if we are going to move forward, as a country, and cooperate in this issue.

Sane and Insane are not medical or scientific terms.

Sane and Insane denote a moral aspect I’m not sure can be dealt with by government.

Same goes for Evil.

Illness and disorder are terms that are defined by medicine and can be dealt with by government.

IN comes the question of Free Will, on which our society and our government are based.

There has been a lot of debate on the subject. That’s why we have put in place policy to determine if a person is legally able to be held responsible for their crimes due to mental (choose your term).

We don’t know this kids diagnosis, we only know here-say. We can only look to past legal cases to know how it has been dealt with before.

We have a really, really good example of why we need to re-think a lot of things, including gun-control.
