Just started reading Deray Mckesson’s twitter feed and my god, is it depressing. So much hate (not from him of course) in just one day. Giuliani being a racist asshole, but at least it was exposed on TV. That kid with a toy gun is now dead. Officer in the hospital overnight for a sprained ankle? Akai in NY shot dead, saying it was an “accident”, yet the news shows his past mugshot. Judge in GJ case didn’t agree to release info if no indictment, so McCullough LIED. Journalists and protesters STILL being arrested for NO reason.

I feel like I’m in a different world, but honestly, I’m not. This is the world and it’s only being exposed now because people are tired of dying merely for the color of their skin.
