And using it as an excuse is even worse. The people I know who are on the spectrum are nicer than average.
The thing about Chuck—and other self-diagnosed angry internet guys—is that the anger and lack of empathy being displayed has nowt to do with the autistic spectrum.
The excuse of “I’m being blunt” or “I’m bad at social cues” doesn’t rate if the former two only crop up when you’re being rude, shitty, and/or enjoying someone’s else’s suffering.
