Same here, especially since people with that attitude tend to ignore the part where forgiveness is dependent on on sincere remorse for one’s mistakes and a firm intention not to repeat them. They look at it as more as a “get out of jail free” card: I’ll do a bunch of sleazy unethical crap all week, then on Sunday I’ll ask for forgiveness—wash, rinse, repeat as often as necessary.
