That is not actually what the post said, no. It didn’t say Scientology shouldn’t be bashed. So that is a misrepresentation on your part. Furthermore, it didn’t talk about mainstream protestantism— it talked about “megachurch, prosperity gospel” forms of protestantism. So that characterization on your part is inaccurate. He furthermore talked about the problem in domestic politics being the socon protestant power structure, which is not only accurate but something that you’ve said on repeated occasions.
