Rubio says, “We will look for you, find you and kill you” as if that were some departure from what we already do.

Fact is, we’ve been killing jihadists for years in exactly that manner, just not thumping our chests the way reactionaries in Rubio’s party demand. From bin Laden 4 years ago to al-Ansi 3 days ago, we’ve killed thousands of jihadists along the way.

Apparently that’s not good enough for the fantasists who populate the gop base; they need a fictional Hollywood tough guy persona in order to feel satisfied. Both ironic and a bit perverse.
