I just had a great idea for “stimulus spending”.
Since, we’re told, pretty much anything goes, and the more we spend, the better things will be; why not build a 1,000-foot tall statue of Barack Obama on the National Mall? It would create jobs, and, um, stimulate, you know, stuff. Indeed, I think it would be incredibly irresponsible NOT to build it. Did I say “irresponsible”? I meant criminal.
Look, we can go back to the old, tired way of doing things, the failed policies of the past. OR, we can build a 1,000-foot statue of Barack Obama on the National Mall. The choice is clear.
