Hey, seriously, Barry Manilow is the first cousin of my first cousin’s ex, and he is the nicest guy…he is like an uncle to her sons, and is still a part of the family. We were his guests, years ago, at a theatre in Manhattan, and he invited us into his dressing room after the show. It was quite a feeling to see all the celebs waiting to talk to him look at NY Grampa and me, as we were led in first! He really has no airs about him, and is very generous to charities.

We chatted about the kids, family, etc. His mother zt”l was a pistol! ;)

We haven’t seen him since, as he does not live in NY…but that he is now a great uncle to my cousin’s grandchildren?
