It simply makes it harder to retract or denounce when your own John Hancock is on the statement. I agree it will not stop people who really want to cause harm and perhaps the GOP is a little too close to completely distance themselves from possible future violence but it would still be a step in the right direction at least.
Oh come on now… this is the fucking 21st century. Anyone making any sort of public statement will have his/her words embedded in all sorts of media for perpetuity… how does a fucking signature and a piece of paper make it any more valid.
You don’t believe an article or an essay or something written on the internet because there is not a physical signature attached to it?
