but as stated, they were
A) not expecting it there that day (“it wasn’t there this morning,,, wasn’t at Fort Walton yesterday”)
B) prepared (mother stated she had goo gone, just in case)
C) the people were doing their best to avoid it AND remove it as soon as they came in contact with it
D) for this time of year, for that beach, it was pretty empty so most decided not to go, and the ones that were there probably didn;t stay long
