I’ve always hated the Tom Clancy books because the bad guys have a leftist ideology, always, even if history and reality proved otherwise. Any right wing “terrorists” in his books were ultimately being manipulated secretly by their socialist masters.

I seem to remember there were Japanese bad guys in one of his books.
