The Joint Chiefs don’t actually command anything. While they are immensely powerful, the go-to-war chain of command goes from the CINC to the commanders of the combat commands.

Fair enough. I was just trying to think of actual “high ranking military leaders”. A bunch of retired old farts that are supporting this whackaloon “uprising” don’t count.
