I’m not well versed, but IIUC, Ghadaffi calls his brand “Islamic socialism”, and its sort of a jumble of pan-Arab thinking, pan-African thinking, Berber glamour, and Marxist-inspired old-revered-revolutionaries-running-a-leaky-public -welfare-net.

I read that as Bieber glamour. Toss that concept around in your mind for 4 or 5 minutes.
