That’s not for you to decide. Although he is a bi-racial man, he made a conscious, personal choice to self-identify as a black man long before he ever entered politics. It was his decision, and should be respected.

Also, he has never denied his white family. After all, he was raised by them. However, he made a decision as to what felt right for him, and that meant calling himself black.

Excuse me. But “I find it unfortunate” that our first bi-racial president chose not to further a post-racial, color-blind society. That is MY personal opinion. It has nothing to do with Barack Obama’s choices for political expendiency. You may not agree with my opinion as to what would be better for our society. But it IS, in fact, for me to decide what my opinion is.
