What I don’t get is the single minded attention to iran’s nuke program and especially the rush to war fans. Yes, the program should be stopped at al costs, but Iran is a small threat to the US and it’s allies compared to Russia, China, or even North Korea or Pakistan. North Korea is as loony as Iran, has nukes, a delivery system and so does Pakistan which is a footstep away from terrorist rule.,

NorKo is semi-rational. Kim wants to retain power, hence deterrence works with him.

Pakistan is still somewhat friendly, and we cooperated with them on nuclear security. Ergo since we know the security, you can bet your bottom dollar we have an extrication, disablement plan.

Iran is not rational in our terms. The Mad Mullahs and Dinnerjacket belong to the cult of the 12th Imam. Armageddon will bring the Madhi back, which is a good thing to them. Flipping a nuc at Tel Aviv and suffering the retaliation is RATIONAL to Dinnerjacket.

A nuclear Iran is more than a small danger. It cannot be allowed to go nuclear without serious very dangerous ramifications.
