The IRA training FARC in Colombia is pure propagandist bunk. It is based on unsubstantiated rumors and hearsay carried in opinion pieces found in certain newspapers that cater to anti-Chavez elements. Not that it’s impossible, only that the source of the hearsay is not objective.

The kinship between the Irish and Palestinians is that both believe they are religious victims of an occupation and yes the terrorist ties go back to the 60s and 70s as do ties between the PLO and terrorists in Italy (Red Brigades), Spain (ETA), Germany (Baader-Meinhof Gang) and elsewhere in Europe.
