That’s because Castro has a ways to go before he becomes a national player. He’s the mayor of San Antonio, but he’s in no position to run for POTUS in four years. He has to prove he’s a viable statewide candidate first.

As a Texan, I would love to make a Castro vote in the next election for governor since my friend and wonderful Houston mayor Annise Parker won’t be running (unless she has plans she’s keeping secret). What a delight he would be and what a relief it would be to get that numbnuts Perry gone.
