If you are in prison, you don’t get to vote. That’s part of the punishment. You also don’t get to decide when you’ll eat, when you’ll sleep, when you’ll do a shift in the library or the laundry room, when you’ll be shut in your cell for 23 of 24 hours. You also don’t get a toilet with a toilet seat. And, you don’t get to make decisions about who you’ll vote for and who will represent you. You aren’t represented. You have a guardian—the State. I’m personally fine with the fact that millions of members of the Aryan Knights, the Crips, the Mexican Mafia are not offering their take on who should be running the country.
