I’ve worked in the media for more than 30 years. I have worked in many different newsrooms both local and national. And I can say without any question that the media is overwhelmingly “left of center.” And while many of these folks are well intentioned in many ways, it is simply impossible to expect them to totally keep their bias from seeping into their reporting and coverage. Some are “over the top” liberal and some are only slightly so. A handful are right of center but very few are hard right. I don’t talk much politics at work because I know that I will make enemies that I don’t need. And while many “liberals” believe they are tolerant people, I can tell you first hand that only a few really give the “other side” a fair shake.
