Everything is going perfectly for Romney. Paul and Santorum can’t win the nomination. Perry is finished. The polling in SC and Florida showed him second to Gingrich in mid-December during the Gingrich surge. That’s over now, and Romney’s support there is probably increasing. Polls actually show that Romney is viewed favorably by most Republicans, just not that intensely. Romney is going to be the nominee.

He’ll be the nominee, but that intensity thing kinda matters. Superpacs don’t knock on doors, register voters, make phone calls or organize a ground game to GOTV. Volunteers to that, and people who work for free need intensity for their candidate.
