It goes to show that there are people who will refuse to bend down to terrorist assholes in that dangerous part of the world. Great story.

We tried something similar in Afghanistan but it didn’t work nearly as well. People started using the system to settle family/tribal disputes by calling in tips to US forces reporting their rivals as Taliban. It seems there are encouraging signs that the Mailians are taking things more seriously. Even their religious leaders are speaking up
